A DIFFERENT WAY TO START

Your current arrangements. What would you like to change?

You use the same contractor every year, but are unsure what the price covers. You are not happy with the appearance after pruning, or find it difficult to explain what you need.

Tell Daruma Ueki what is on your mind. We welcome enquiries from property managers, building owners and people who arrange garden maintenance.

You do not need to have decided to switch contractors. We can start by discussing your current arrangements and what you would like to change.

START WITH YOUR CONCERNS

YOUR CURRENT ARRANGEMENTS

Does any of this sound familiar?

01 · WHAT TO REVIEW

First, let's work out what you want to change

01

Compare the cost

We clarify the trees and areas involved, visits per year, removal of cut branches, cleaning and other items to include. Comparing the same scope makes price differences easier to understand.

02

Discuss the finish

Tell us the height you want to retain, where planting provides screening, and any concerns around paths. We consider your wishes and practical constraints using photos and the conditions on site.

03

Improve communication

We clarify instructions before work, your contact person and how completion will be checked. If you would like before-and-after photos or reports, we can discuss what is needed and what can be provided.

02 · SITE & ESTIMATE

We check the site conditions before estimating.

BEFORE THE ESTIMATE

  • Tools and people needed
  • Work routes and whether keys are needed
  • Cut material quantities, vehicle loading and removal
  • Vehicles or working arrangements that may be needed

Cost depends on tree size, difficulty, the people needed and the quantity of cut material. We also check removal quantities and any vehicle requirements when preparing an estimate for the work.

WORK THAT FITS THE PROPERTY

ONGOING CARE

Which areas need care, and what finish do you want?

ScopeVisitsTiming

We welcome enquiries about tree pruning, hedge and shrub trimming, mowing and weeding to suit your property's planting.

For ongoing care, we discuss the types of work, areas, number of visits and timing before proposing a plan. Requirements depend on the planting and site conditions.

For tree removal or work on taller trees, we confirm whether we can take on the job after checking site conditions and the arrangements needed to work safely.

STANDARDS & SITE REQUIREMENTS

04 · SITE STANDARDS

Your standards and site rules matter.

Tell us what needs to be maintained.

We also ask about existing maintenance standards and arrangements. We clarify requirements for the finish, photos, reporting and safety before explaining what Daruma Ueki can provide.

The required finish
We clarify the height to retain, screening, scope and other details to agree before work.
Photos and completion reports
Discuss before-and-after photos, work records, hazard-awareness documents and who will check them. Formats and what we can provide are confirmed for each enquiry.
Safety and site rules
We ask about access, vehicle routes and any procedures or documents required for the property. If spraying is involved, respecting the agreed spraying time is important to us.

  1. 01

    Tell us what concerns you

Let us know the property's municipality, the places that need attention, and your preferred work and timing. You do not need a complete set of documents to make an initial enquiry.

  2. 02

    Check the conditions and scope

We review what photos can show and discuss a site visit where needed. We also check work areas, vehicle access and considerations for people nearby.

  3. 03

    Review the scope and estimate

We clarify the areas and tasks, cleaning and disposal, and how any additional work would be handled. Photo records and completion reports can also be discussed according to your requirements.

  4. 04

    Proceed with the agreed arrangements

We confirm who is placing the order and the contact person, then discuss dates and any notices needed before work. If you are changing an existing contract, please also check its conditions.

06 · QUESTIONS

Questions we can help with

Q01Can we enquire if we already use another contractor?

Yes. Tell us your current concerns and what you would like from future maintenance. Please check the conditions for changing or ending your current arrangement with your existing contractor.

Q02Will it cost less than our current service?

That depends on the scope, number of visits and site conditions, so we cannot promise a lower price. We clarify the work needed and prepare an estimate that can be compared on the same basis.

Q03Can we discuss a one-off job first?

Tell us the work and timing you have in mind. We will check the size of the property and the tasks before confirming whether we can take it on.

Q04Can you quote from photos alone?

Photos help us understand the situation. If tree heights, site access or safety conditions cannot be assessed from photos, we will discuss a site visit.

Q05Do you accept enquiries from property management companies?

We welcome enquiries from management companies, owners and people arranging garden care. We confirm who will place the order, the contact person, and any documents or reports required before explaining what we can provide.

DARUMA UEKI

You don't have to have decided to switch

You can start with questions such as which parts of an estimate to compare, or whether a different finish could be discussed.

First, let us know the property's municipality and what is concerning you.

Based in Ota, mainly serving Tokyo and nearby areas. For projects farther away, please enquire; availability depends on the work, project size, travel costs and other conditions.

If you send photos, please avoid including passers-by's faces, nameplates or vehicle registration numbers. For another company's estimate, only share information you are permitted to disclose; task descriptions and quantities may be enough to start.

Strictly no sales or solicitation calls.

This phone number is exclusively for customer enquiries and requests about garden care and construction.
